    Welcome back to your nation’s capital!

    Are you a PLASTICS member interested in advocating for the industry, strengthening valuable leadership skills, and learning firsthand how policy is crafted on Capitol Hill? During the PLASTICS Fly-In, participants enhance their understanding of the issues facing the fourth largest manufacturing industry in the United States and hone their skills in the public policy process and advocacy.

    PLASTICS members have the opportunity to meet with Members of Congress and senior legislative staff to advance the Association’s collective policy priorities while learning beneficial leadership skills they can bring back to the workplace. You will also have valuable peer-to-peer networking with fellow PLASTICS influencers.

    Your Voice in ActiON

    The Fly-In ensures that the voice of the plastics industry is amplified on Capitol Hill. Congress must hear from you, and not only those who seem to eliminate the very materials and products we provide to keep society safe, healthy and protected. You'll have a significant impact on our efforts as you share stories of your company's successes at improving everyday life and enhancing the economy in the communities you serve.

    Following briefings about the top policy issues affecting the plastics industry, you’ll have the opportunity to share those top priorities with congressional offices to share our top priorities:

    Ensure the recognition of plastic as an essential material;

    Understand the economic challenges we face;

    Quantify the impact and outcomes of policy proposals

    We hope you’ll join us at this year’s in-person fly-in on April 19th  in our Nation’s Capital!
