Meet the Speakers
John Hite is a senior associate with Clear Strategy, a consulting firm leading the development of Circular Action Alliance, the newly appointed PRO for packaging EPR in Colorado. His focus with CAA is on regulatory analysis and stakeholder engagement. Prior to joining Clear Strategy, John worked with the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection to facilitate the development of priority waste legislation. Earlier in his career, John spent three years with the Conservation Law Foundation in New England, designing and advocating in support of several waste policies, including EPR for packaging and deposit return systems throughout the region.
Olivia is a Senior Associate with Clear Strategy and a member of the Project Team supporting Circular Action Alliance (CAA), 501(c)(3) non-profit Producer Responsibility Organization established to support the successful implementation of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) laws for paper and packaging in the U.S. Olivia leads CAA’s Stakeholder Engagement & Communications team. She has 15 years of experience leading policy, public affairs and communications initiatives for multi-national companies and clients spanning the food & beverage, retail, energy, environmental, technology, and non-profit sectors. Prior to joining Clear Strategy, Olivia led Amazon’s U.S. policy work on circular economy, packaging and recycling issues. She also worked for The Coca-Cola Company for 8 years, where she held government relations and communications roles in Washington, D.C., Atlanta, Tokyo, and Boston.
