Join peers from across the plastics industry to learn more about how we are all working together to promote recycling. The associations and organizations participating will provide an overview of their programs, and will be followed by an opportunity for questions and open discussion on additional areas where collaboration is needed. Join us to learn how you can become engaged and how we can all work together to promote plastics circularity.
The Plastics Industry Association has the unique opportunity to collaborate on difficult-to-recycle projects with the entirety of the plastics supply chain. The New End Market Opportunities (NEMO) program was created to work on these projects, directed straight from our member feedback and the areas that they feel are most important.
NEMO projects aim to convince brands and converters that there are markets and emerging supplies for recycled materials, provide proof of concept for methods to process recycled materials, bring attention to policy and advocacy, and continuously promote a circular economy.
